"Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me."

"And now, my beloved brethern, after ye have gotten into this strait and narrow path, I would ask if all is done? Behold, I say unto you, Nay; for ye have not come thus far save it were by the word of Christ with unshaken faith in him, relying wholly upon the merits of him who is mighty to save. Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life."
- 2 Nephi 31: 19-20

This week was a long and very full one. I feel like it has been at least 2-3 weeks since I have been on here emailing home. We have been swamped with work. We have been working on finding all the members who haven’t been to church in a few months or longer, and we've been working with our investigators to approach baptismal dates soon. We also have had many meeting this week, and we have been working like chickens with our heads cut off. We have been coming into our apartment at night, plan really quickly, and then sleep so fast.

The mission is going so well. I love all that I am learning. I feel like this is the best decision I have made in my life: to leave and serve for two years of my life. I love it!

Well, this past Tuesday, we had a death of a member in our ward. It was really sad, but it was also so amazing because the family has a firm testimony of the plan of salvation and are continuing to have a good life as they rely on the plan. It is also a blessing because the member who died is no longer in pain, is in a better place, and also because her husband is now bringing themselves closer to the gospel of Christ. It was great to think about Mosiah 16:8-9 and how the atoning sacrifice of Christ is more than sufficient to save us from being defeated by physical death.

We have also had the great opportunity to give service to a member as he hasn’t been able to do much for himself being swamped with work. It was awesome, because at the end, he let me take a ride on his awesome bicycle. I have been dying to ride a bicycle during my mission. I miss bike rides. But, the service was just as awesome because we were able to help him out and able to feel the amazing spirit that service brings!

Espero que todos continuan a firmar al barro de hierro y continuan a alcanzar la vida eterna. (2 Nephi 31:19-20)

Les amo muchísimo y gracias por todo del apoyo que me dan.
(I love you so much, and thank you for all the support you give me!)

Con amor,

Elder Gale
